Modern Disappointment

It is hard to deal with the disappointment that accompanies our expectations of sincere reciprocation. The loss of family cohesion and interpersonal connections seems to be symptomatic of the age. Everyone places themselves in the center of a shallow universe. It can be heartbreaking when we feel the ocean within but can’t communicate or connect with those we love. My response is to place them all in Ma’s hands and to live as deeply as we can. The awareness of depth can only come from regular sadhana. And sadhana comes from a sacred worldview steeped in deep sentiments and spiritual realities. It comes by grace alone.
