A Deeper Japa

Ma Kali’s name is Kali Herself, the Supreme Goddess, the divine Shakti that animates our lives and transforms us though Her love (kripa). But behind Her dynamic divine name and form, She exist as pure consciousness, the one transcendent ground of our very being—of every being. In the beginning of our practice, we struggle to keep the name in our mind, but gradually we should try to keep our mind in the name. This lighter “stance” can be a deeper japa.
